The End of Probability

Today you had a stapled booklet that was due for marks. We talked yesterday about the "at least" problems that will for sure come up on the test.
Please have the stapled booklets in by Monday, many are already in.
We will correct the review on Monday and the test will be on Tuesday. Judging from the marks on the probability quiz, you'll need to study quite a bit for the test!

Probability

Today we learned about mutually exclusive events. Remember that mutually exclusive means that the two events have nothing in common so you just add their probabilities. Also, non-mutually exclusive means that the two events have at least one thing in common so you have to subtract that common event from the addition of the two separate events.
These questions will always have an "or" in the statement so always check to see if the two events have anything in common.
The even numbered questions are due for marks tomorrow.
We have a unit test coming up on Tuesday, December 3rd.
